OUR PURPOSE
Make room for a fuller story.
Our mission is to make Sunnyvale’s history approachable through clear explanations, thoughtful questions, and careful attention to context. We help readers begin exploring and keep asking questions.
Our mission
Our mission is to connect readers with the people, places, and changes behind Sunnyvale’s history. We aim to make local history approachable without losing the detail and context that make it meaningful.
Who this publication serves
Longtime residents, newcomers, students, families, and anyone curious about the city should be able to begin with a useful question. You do not need specialist knowledge to start exploring.
Our vision
We envision a publication that helps readers compare accounts, follow sources, and recognize that the same period can hold different meanings for different people. The goal is not the final word, but a more informed conversation.
What that looks like in practice
An article should leave its reader better informed, aware of important uncertainties, and ready to keep exploring. Clear language and careful distinctions matter more than grand claims.
